Commission by brother Sampson Senex, prior of the priory of the Blessed Mary of Folkestone, and vicar general in England and Ireland for the abbey of Lonley, to Richard Amys to adminster the goods of the priory of Stokecurcey, vacant by the death of John Galardus, the last prior, together with the care and rule of the monks etc. The appointment of Senex (or Senis) to the office of vicar general by Paschal, abbot of Lonley, on 1 March 1371, is recited. Witnesses: brother Gervase monk of the priory of Folkestone, and dominus Roger, vicar of the same, William Persgate Hamo Squieyne clerks John Waltone, mayor of Folkestone, William Parkyn and Henry Wythe, servants of the priory.

Seal of the priory, pointed oval, 42 mm, dark wax, on tongue. Within a flat canopy St Eanswitha, in her right hand a palm branch, on her left two trees, on her right two birds. Above, in a canopy the Virgin and Child.
