Letters Patent granting licence to Richard Amys, prior of Stok Curcy, to lease for a term of years to suitable persons lands and tenements in Monkedon [Monkton] Sondon Farndon Otramton [Otterhamton] and Lylestok [Lilstock], which are far from the priory, and many houses in Stok Curcy which are in a ruinous condition, parcels of the priory. The prior has represented that he cannot maintain the foregoing in his own hands to the profit of the priory. By Patent of 22 November last the custody of the priory had been granted to the said Richard for the duration of the war with France. Westminster.
