Letters patent of the official of the archdeacon of Taunton, declaring that he has inducted Ralph Canon to the church of Wotton [Wootton Courtney]. Letters of John, bishop of Bath and Wells, of 10 June, exemplifying royal letter of 15 May 1386, are recited. Given at Wotton.
Seal, pointed oval, 45 mm, red wax, on tongue. Sides broken away. Armorial: lozengy a saltire, within the upper arms a shield of arms, six [roundles] three, two and one.
