Indenture of lease by Richard Amys, prior, and the monks of Stokecurcy to Roger Smyth, Eleanor, his wife, and Alice, his mother, of the reversions of a tenement in la Hurpelane in Stokecurcy held for life by Michael Dolloc, Joan, his wife, and Alice, their daughter, and formerly John Monketon, and a croft which Margaret, late the wife of Henry Dolloc, held for life, lying in Monketon [Monkton] between the King's way leading from Stokecurcy towards Bruggewater [Bridgewater] and the land of Henry Dolloc; to hold for their lives in survivorship, for a rent of 13s 4d. Witnesses: William Lukays Robert Davy William Waleys senior Benedict Gardenere Nicholas Tannere and others. Given at Stokecurcy Thursday after the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, 1 Henry IV.
