Order of Henry, archbishop of Canterbury and Papal Legate, to all rectors, vicars, etc of his province to cite John Verney to appear within fifteen days on the complaint of the prior of Stokecurcy that the said Verney has interfered with the celebration of divine services by the vicar of the same. Given at Croydon.
Seal, red wax, oval, 75 mm, on tongue. The middle is broken away, and the impression is not very good. Above, under canopies, the Virgin and Child between two angels; in the middle Christ crucified between two bishops; below, under a round arch, the bishop between two armorial shield.
