Cyrograph of lease for their lives in survivorship by Giles, prior of Bekeford and Colstewerth, to Ralph le Littestere of Grantham and Christian, his wife, of four crofts of pasture in Hogthon, one lying between the croft of Roger de Wolsthorp on the north and Ralph de Ingoldesby on the south, one between the croft of Thomas Poitere on the south and Robert de Walton on the north, one between the croft of Walter Prestes of Melton on the north and the prior of St Katherine's on the south, and one between the croft of the prior of St Katherine's on each side.
Yearly rent 4s. The lessees will build two houses on the said crofts.
Witnesses: Roger Symond of Grantham, William Grane of the same, John Scharp of the same, William Scherman of Hogthon, Alan Austyn of the same and Thomas Pottere of Spitelgate and others.
Seal, oval, 18mm, red wax, on doubled tag. A sheaf? (A legend illegible).
