Copy of court roll of Eton recording admission of John Gough to a piece of land in Eton called Godardeswharff and a lane leading to it from the King's way, and land lying between lands of said John and Alex. Chamberleyn on the west, the Thames on the east and south and land late of Richard Groue, now of the Bishop of Salisbury on the north, at a rent of 20d and the usual suit of court and services.Tenant pays two capons, value 8d, and does fealty. 17 April, 14 Edward IV.
