Quitclaim by Thomas Loueden of Crendon, co. Bucks, gentilman, and John Grove of Grenehith [Greenhithe], co. Kent, gentilman, to John Scott of Dorney, co. Bucks, gentilman of a messuage, a toft, late a cottage with curtilage, 9½ acres of land and 3½ of meadow in Eton, co. Bucks, viz, the messuage between a lane called Goderdeslane on the south and a messuage late of Thomas Jourdeley [Jourdelay], now of the college of St Mary of Eton on the north, extending from the King's way leading from Eton church on the east to land of said college on the west, the toft between the said lane on the north and a piece of water called Baldwynspole on the south the King's way aforesaid on the east and a meadow late of Richard Grove and Elizabeth his wife now of John Scotte on the west, 2 acres in a field called Lynecrofte between a croft called Saferon Gardyn, late of Thomas Jourdeley, now of Thomas Swanne on the south and a croft of the King called le King's Heryn and land of Richard Louell on the north, the King's land on the west and a half acre late of Richard Groue and his said wife, now of John Scotte on the east, 2 acres in a field called Brokfurlong between land late of Henry Bohey, now of Thomas Durdaunt, on the east and land of said John Groue on the west exending from land of the King called le Borowe on the south to a common of Eton called Eton Common on the north, 1 acre next le Borowe on the west and land late of Thomas Jourdeley, now of Thomas Swanne, on the east and land of said John Groue on the west, 1 acre called Smoke acre, at the south end of a field called Middelfyrree, extending from the King's way leading from Windsor to Dorney on the west to land of Richard Louell on the east, 3 acres at le Wike in a croft called Farnecrofte between land of Thomas Jourdeley, now of Thomas Swanne, on the north, south and east, and land of divers persons on the west, ½ acre called A Forlong in Lynecrofte aforesaid between the said 2 acres there now of John Scotte on the west and a croft called Bardenes on the east extending from Kingesberyn on the north to a common gate at Lynecrofte on the south, 2 acres of meadow in a meadow called Suthmede, between a meadow of the King on the south and a croft of the college called le Parsons Heryn on the north extending from a ditch called le Castell diche on the east to a meadow of said John Groue on the west, 1 acre of meadow at le Wike in the field callled le Hyde between land of John Water on the south and land of Richard Lane on the north, a meadow late of Thomas Jourdeley, now of Thomas Swanne on the east and land of divers persons on the west, 2½ acres of meadow between Goderdeslane aforesaid and a meadow late of Thomas Joudeley, now of Thomas Swanne, called le Cowehawe, on the south, extending from le Castelldiche on the west to the said toft on the east. All premises the said John Scott recovered from them in a writ of entry upon disseisin in le port before Thomas Bryan and others justices of the bench at Westminster, Trinity term, 14 Edward IV (1474). 1 July, 14 Edward IV.
