Grant by Eugina, late the wife of Osbertus mercator, in her free widowhood, to Thomas Burnel, for his service and ½ marc, of the land which Alicia, wife of said Thomas, holds in dower, and also of the grantor’s land, in one messuage in the town of Wyndesor (Windsor) of the fee of the prior of Merton and of the lord of Clifware (Clewer), (excepting one house of the said fee lying between the soler of the said Thomas and his gate), extending from the King’s way to the length of the said soler, at a rent of 3d.
