Grant by Nicholas Andre of Etone, to John Godfrey, of New Windsor, of a croft, containing 3 acres of land in New Windsor called Poterles Crofte in exchange for 3 acres and a piece of land in Etone held by the gift of Nicholas Culwell, William Blaveryng, William le Brother and Hugh, son of Maurice le Mercer; the said corft being held by the gift of the late Robert Poterill, citizen of London, lying in Underore between the King's way called Pokelane on the one hand and the grantor's tenement and the pasture of Underore called Bradley on the other, and extending from the Cruchesputtes to the street which leads from Bradley to Pokelane.
Witnesses: Matthew Geralde, John Est, Robert Randulfe, Adam le Rded, William (Bafocus?), William de la Barre, Joh Jurdan, William de Camera, Huge, son of Maurice le Mercer, and others.
Given at New Windsor, Wednesday after the feast of St Faith the virgin 17 Edward II.
