Content description

Grant by John Tenham and Sabina, his wife, of New Windsor, to Matilda, their daughter, of a messuage with a curtilage adjacent in the town of Windsor opposite the gaol between the tenement of Sir Richard Postell, canon of the royal chapel of Windsor, on the south and the tenement sometime of John Hertle in which John Burgeys lives on the north, extending at one end onto the King's way on the west and at the other onto le Oldehawes on the east.
Witnesses: John Lausell, mayor of the town, Robert Bongey, Walter Sanghurst, then bailiffs, John Burgeys, Henry Newenham, and other.
Given at Windsor Wednesday before the feast of the Traslation of St Thomas the Martyr 7 Richard II.
Two seals.
