Will of Thomas Bythewode, of Spetillstreete, bequeathing his soul to God the father, the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints; his body to be buried in the cemetery of St John the Baptist of New Windsor; to the cathedral church of Salisbury 1d; to Agnes, his wife, a messuage with a garden situated in Spetilstreete, for her life, with remainder to William, his son, and his heirs, with remainder to Elizabeth, his daughter, and her heirs, and in default of such issue the premises to be sold and the proceeds distributed for the salvation of his soul and the souls of his parents and benefactors; to the same Agnes 5 acres of arable land lying separately which he had of the bequest of John Bithwoode, his father, for her life, with remainder to William, and his heirs, with remainder to Elizabeth, and her heirs, with remainder to the next heirs of the said John Bithwode; the residue of his goods to Agnes, his wife.
