Indenture of lease by the Provost and College to Sir John Jackson, of the Inner Temple, knight and Richard Harryson, of Hurst, co. Berks, esquire, of the rectory of Compton. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 12 quarters of wheat and 5 quarters 5 bushels of malt, or their money equivalent, and £10 16s and one boar to be delivered a fortnight before Christmas or 26s 8d for the same. Witnesses: Jonas Mountague, Walter Butler, Robert Dacres, Rad. Palin (or Patin), Benjamin Owtred, public notary.
