Indenture of lease upon surrender of the foregoing, by the Provost and College to Jacob Whitbread, of Lowdham Park, co. Suffolk, esquire, (committee of the estate of John Jacob Hinde, esquire, a lunatic, upon the trusts and for the purposes expressed regarding the premises hereby demised or intending so to be in an indenture of settlement bearing date the 8 July 1755 made upon the marriage of Jacob Hinde, esquire, with Anne Thayer, spinster, both deceased, the father and mother of the said lunatic) of the rectory of Compton. From old Lady day 1802 for 10 years.
Rent 864 gallons of wheat and 405 gallons of malt and £10 16s and one boar to be delivered a fortnight before Christmas or 26s 8d for the same, with an additional £31 10s in consideration of the redemption of land tax.
