Indenture of lease, upon surrender of the foregoing lease, by the Provost and the College to William Crosse, of the borough of Southward, brewer, of the Ball at Holborn Cross in the parish of St Sepulchre's without Newgate, and another piece of ground adjoining with an old house built thereon between the Lamb on the south and Cokkyslane [Cock Lane] on the north, late in the occupation of one John Piper and Agnes his wife and now of the said Crosse. From Lady day last for 38 years. Rent of 40s.
