Copy of an order in the Court of Requests, in the suit between William Daye, Provost, and the College of Eton, plaintiffs, and John Clayton, defendant, concerning a rent of 20s with the arrears thereof from a tenement lying near a conduit in Holborne, in the tenure of the defendant. For 30 years the plaintiffs have been seised of the rent, paid to them by the Master and Company of Cordwainers, late owners in fee of the premises, who, when they sold the same to the defendant, informed him that the rent was payable. Decree that the defendant is to pay the said rent, and before 1 June next all arrears.
