Certificate by Rowland Clarke, knight, Richard Allen, esquire, and Richard Carpenter, gentleman, commissioners, to the Exchequer, that a messuage called the Ball on Snowhill by the conduit of Holburne [Holborn] within the parish of St Sepulche outside Newgate, late of the Guild or fraternity of the Blessed Mary and of St John the Baptist founded within the church or parish of St Botolph by Billingsgate, now or lately in the tenure of William Squier, is worth per annum 2s 6d.
Note: the fee simple was never in the said fraternity but a lease from the Hospital of St James for 99 years.
