Hospital of St James, London: Memorandum of grants

Memorandum of grants relating to the Hospital of St James:
(1) Letters Patent 7 Edward IV to the Provost and College, upon the death of Roger Malmesbury, their keeper.
(2) Indenture of 5 September 23 Henry VIII by the Provost and College to the Crown, the hospital with 185½ acres and other lands, the Crown granting that the Provost and College should have reserved to them all other their lands in the suburbs of London and in Westminster not mentioned in the indenture.
(3) Deed of 1 November 23 Henry VIII by the Provost and College to the Crown of the said Hospital, with surrender of Letters Patent of 30 October 25 Henry VI.
(4) Letters Patent 26 December 23 Henry VIII granting, in consideration of the foregoing, to the Provost and College the manor of Bawdewyns [Baldwins], etc.
(5) Act of Parliament that the Provost and College should peaceably enjoy the premises mentioned in (3) and (4).
