Indenture of lease, upon surrender of the foregoing lease to William Clarke whose right and interest in the same Sir Baptist Hickes now has, by Sir Henry Savill, knight, Provost and the college, to the said Sir Baptist Hickes, of London, knight, of four houses and tenements with all shops cellars and warehouses in the parishes of St Mary Magdalene in Milk Street and All Hallows in Bread Street in the city of London, that is to say both the houses called the White Bear and the White Hart. From this date for 40 years. Rent £13 6s 8d.
Endorsed: Signed sealed and delivered by Anthony Elcock, the lessee's attorney, in the presence of Benjamin Owtred, public notary, and Ran. Parin. And signed sealed and delivered by the lessee on 30 March in the presence of William Beare and William Gerberde.

(1) Oval, 18mm, red wax, on doubled tag. Armorial: A fesse wavy between three fleurs de lys.
(2) Doubled tag with fragments of red wax seal.
