Indenture of lease, by William Daye, Provost, and the College to William Clarke of Ludgraves, co. Middlesex, esquire, of four houses and tenements with all shops cellars and warehouses in the parishes of St Mary Magdalene in Milk Street and All Hallows in Bread Street in the city of London, that is to say both the houses called the White Bear and the White Hart. To hold for 21 years from Lady Day 1615 or on the expiry of a lease for 70 years dated 20 March 1545 by the then Provost to Fulk Skydmore, of London, mercer, of the foregoing, then in the tenure of the said Fulk and of Agnes Cavendish, widow, William Compton, mercer, and Bryan Jhonson, butcher. Rent £13 6s 8d.
