Indenture of lease, upon surrender of their former lease, by the Provost and College to James Lambe, of Fairford, co. Gloucester, esquire, and Hester, his wife, daughter and administratrix of Frances Barker, late of Hampstead, widow, deceased, of four houses and tenements with all shops cellars and warehouses in the parishes of St Mary Magdalene in Milk Street and All Hallows in Bread Street in the city of London, that is to say both the houses called the White Bear and the White Hart. Rent £13 6s 8d. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. The said lessee or his lessees to dwell in and upon the premises with their family and household and especially upon the tenement called the White Beare.
