Writ from the King, to the collectors in the diocese of Winchester of the triennial tenth lately granted by the clergy of the kingdom to acquit brother William Daubeney, prior of Elyngham [Ellingham], of the same (ECR 17 021). By letters patent he has the custody of the said priory (seized by the crown owing to the war with France) for a certain farm quit of such tenths. Westminster.
