Stratfield Saye, Hampshire: Indenture of lease of priory

Indenture of lease, by William Westbury, Provost, and the College of Eton to John Baynton, of Stratfeld Saye, of the site of the manor or priory of Stratfield Saye, with the pension of the rectory and all other appurtenances, except for rents of services before leased, woods, perquisites of courts and all other profits which through their office the bailiffs of the liberty may acquire, which are reserved to the lessors. From Michaelmas next for 21 years. Rent £6 13s 4d. The lessee to collect all rents belonging to the manor and to pay them, together with his own, at the College, and to receive for the office of collector of the rents one suit of livery of the valets of the College yearly of 6s 8d allowed to him in his account for such livery.
