Indenture of lease by Provost and the College of Eton, to George Miller, of Swallowfield, co. Wilts, gentleman, Richard Aldworth, of Hinton Pipard, co. Wilts, gentleman, and Henry Winchcombe, of Bucklebury, co. Berks, esquire, of the manor or priory of Stratfieldsaye, except for all woods there which are reserved to the lessors together with convenient access to the same. From Lady Day last for 21 years. Rent £7 6s 8d and 5 quarters of wheat and 8 quarters of malt, or their money equivalent.
The said Winchcombe married Frances Howard, daughter of Frances Howard deceased, daughter of Sir Richard Harison.
Witnesses: William Sclater, William Barnsby, John Hollenshed, deputy registrar.
