Indenture of lease by brother Thomas de Valle, prior of Clatford, proctor general of the abbey and convent of St Victor in the diocese of Rouen to Joan Snou, of Stratfield Mortimer, of a house with a croft adjacent in the vill of Stratfield Mortimer, situated between the land of Stephen the Porter on one side and the land of the prior called la Wortht, which house Richard de Beaulu once held for life from the same. The land extends on the west to the prior's dike and on the east to the road by the bank. To hold the said house and croft with a close there for her life. Rent 2s.
