Stratfield Mortimer, Berkshire: Indenture of lease of parsonage

Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College to Thomas Harrison, of Stratfield Saye, co. Berks, gentleman, of the site of the Priory or parsonage of Stratfeilde Mortimer [Stratfield Mortimer], co. Berks, now in the tenure of Richard and Nicholas Williams, together with a close called Worthine and a tenement a croft and a little pittel at the north east part of the said Worthine and a close called the Great Moncke. The advowson of the vicarage reserved to the college. From Michaelmas 1589, or whenever a lease of 14 June 1563 to the said Richard and Nicholas Williams shall be void, for 30 years. Rent £3 0s 6d and 21 wether sheep to be delivered at the playing leaze between the feast of St Luke the Evangelist (18 October) and Christmas.
