Chattisham, Suffolk: Indenture of lease of pasture

Indenture of lease, for a certain sum of money paid, by John Beneyt of Chatesham to Alice Marmyoun, prioress, and the convent of Wykes [Wix] of an acre and a half of pasture called le Hollewawe in the vill of Chatesham [Chattisham] adjoining the pasture of the prioress on all sides. From the nativity of the Blessed Mary 15 Edward III for eighty years.
The prioress and convent lease to the said John four pieces of pasture containing an acre and a half lying in Chatesham and adjoining the pasture of the said John called Hollewawe on all sides. From the same date for the same term.
Witnesses: Walter del Hel, Nicholas le Taylour, Robert Goot, John Streblout, Nicholas de Hel.
