Letter from Edmund Thompson to William Day, Provost, informing him that Mr Knappe has felled further trees and removed compost, stating that the land is his. Mr Knappe states that he has waited 2 years for the college to take action, and claims that the college cannot prove ownership. Thompson offers his uncle as a witness at the Assisses when evidences over the land were read out. Written 27 November. Signed Edmunde Thompson. Bearer requested to "yeve this wythe spedde".
