Draft instructions, dated at Chattisham, to the bailiff of the manor of Chattisham, to seize into the lord's hands a tenement called Scotts, with a garden adjoining, in Swillond [Swilland], which as appeared from a presentment at a court held on 6 November 1617 had been surrendered by Samuel Strutton, a customary tenant, for the use of Anthony Gosnold, gent., but the latter had not appeared to claim the same.
