Contemporary copy of letter from Sir Henry Savile, Provost, to Mr Nicholas Timperley, apologising for the actions of their bailiff. He rejects the offered exchange. Signed "Henrye Savile". Postscript explaining that Timperley's letter took 4 months to arrive and suggests he find an alternative courier.
