Content description
Indenture between the Provost and College and John Arderne, son of John Arderne, of Cottesforde, deceased, gentleman. By indenture of 20 October 1556 the Provost and College leased to the said John Arderne, junior, the manor of Cottesforde [Cottisford], provided that within six months of attaining the age of twenty one he should surrender the said lease in consideration of a new lease. Release by the Provost and College, for 20s, of John Arderne from the said proviso.
