Bond by John Cope to Sir Henry Savile, knight, Provost, in £40 for payment to the Provost and College of £20 within three months after Mary Pettie, daughter of Robert Pettie, deceased, shall reach the age of 21 years, or otherwise that the Provost and College may after the decease of Penelope Collyns, wife of William Collyns, gentleman, during the life of the said Mary Pettie, enjoy the tenement called Barssis in Cottesford [Cottisford], sold by the said John Cope to the Provost and College by indenture of the date of the present, without any claim to the same by or on behalf of the said Mary Pettie.
