Richard Wharton, Oriell College, to Sir Henrye Savil, knight, 25 January 1606/7. He delivered the Provost's note to Richard Brock who promised to deliver it to Chappell so to be conveyed to Mr Willcocks. "The poore man not understanding his owne cause shewed me a copye (I think) of the replevye into the hundred court of Poughlye [Poughley] holden every three weekes at Iselipp [Islip]: and could say nothing of any determination, removeall or processe..."
