Level
Item
Date
26 December 1809
Content description
R.W. Greenhill, Bath, to the Rev. William Roberts. Mr Fermor and Mr Cooke have agreed to employ Mr Davis as the sole commissioner for the enclosure of Cottisford. He understands that in consideration of the heavy expenses his father will be put to by the enclosure, the College will grant him the same terms now as they would have last year had the enclosure then taken place. His father has been at Bath the last ten days.
"I have had a greater degree of troubled and unpleasant correspondence with Mr Cooke that I hope I shall ever have with any one again. He certainly does not possess the same liberal principles as his patrons."
