Samuel Cooke, Bookham, to Rev. Mr Roberts, by an amanuensis, asking the College to intercede with its lessee, Dr Greenhill, who refuses to assent to the allocation of a few acres from the old close to the rectory, of which the house and premises "are at present so confined as not to admit of any clergyman's residence, however desireable in the neighbourhood of so many Roman Catholic families belonging to the Fermor estates around him".
