Certified copy of the will of Nathaniel Billing, citizen and vintner of London, dated 5 February 1712/13, proved 8 January 1713/14; extracted from the Registers of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. Provision is made for the foundation of a school in Weedon Beck [Weedon Bec]. A clause impowering the lords of the manor to approve and displace the schoolmaster has been underlined by Betham, who has endorsed the document to this affect.
