Indenture of grant, by Richard Wentworth, Knight, to Roger Lupton, Provost, and the College of Eton of certain parcels of land viz. a piece lying in the parish of Baylham containing ½ acre 12½ roods lying in Baylham Churchevaly between the land of Andrew Wyndesor, Knight, called Sondweypyghtell on the west and the land of Roger Sperk on the east of which the northern head abuts on the way leading from Baylhamstrete to Nettelstede and the southern head abuts on the land of the said Andrew Wyndesor now in the tenure of John Vyncent, and a piece lying in Brodesleyfeld containing ½ acre 37½ roods abutting on the land of the said Andrew Wyndesor now in the tenure of John Vyncent on the east and the land of Roger Sperk on the west, the southern head abutting upon Brodeleywey and the northern head upon the Humbyldall; and a piece containing ½ acre 24 roods lying between the land of Roger Sperk on both the east and the west, the southern head abutting upon Brodeleywey and the northern upon Humbyldall; and a piece containing ½ acre 5 roods lying between the land of the said Roger Sperk both on the east and the west, the northern head abutting upon Brodeleywey and the southern head upon the wood of Thomas Herlewyn called Pyttesmedwe; and a piece lying in Baylham Churchevaly containing ½ acre 37 roods between the land of John Bemes on the east and the land of Andrew Wyndesor called Longdon on the west , the southern head abutting on the land pertaining to the rectory of Baylham and the northern head upon the way leading from Baylhamstrete to Nettelstede. The grantor will exonerate the grantee from quitrents and every other burden on the premises. To hold in perpetuity in exchange for a parcel of land lying within the manor of Blakenham enclosed by Henry Wentworth, Knight, father of the grantor, and now within his park next the fence (palam) of the said park on the east. Signature of grantor.
Seal, oval, 15 x 11 mm, red wax, on doubled tag. A [vase] with a loop or bow.

Endorsed that the document was sealed on 27 August on behalf of the grantor in the presence of John Golstun, priest, Richard Gylbert, John Jonys, servant to the said Richard, and Nicholas Tubman and the same day the Provost took possession of the premises, which was delivered by Richard Gylberd in the presence of Master John Gulston, fellow of the College, Sir Richard Flynt, parson of Blakenham, Thomas Revett, farmer and bailiff of Blakenham, Thomas Spynk, John Feyerbrother, John de Wudam, John Vyncent.
