Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, to Robert Snellinge, of a piece of ground, lately wood ground called Highfield Wood containing ten acres in Blakenham on the water between the lord's demesnes called Kinges Merehill on the south and a piece late of John Lee called Longe Pitle alias Longe Acre on the north and abutting on the lord's land called Highfeilde on the west and part upon a copyhold land of the manor of Claidon called Claydon Hall Bottom alias Reades Valley and part upon Poyntermere sometime of John Lees on the east. From Michaelmas last for 20 years. Rent 3s 4d and 1 bushel of wheat and 1 bushel 2 pecks of malt. Witnesses: Benjamin Owtred, public notary, Thomas Hochinson, Thomas Dickinson.
