In its original endowment, the college was granted a farm and rent of £70 1s, from John Styward, Knight, for the custody of the alien Manors of East Wretham and Bledlow which he held on lease for seven years from Michaelmas 1438; with the reversion of the same when it should befall. The property held by the college at East Wretham, was exchanged on 11 February 1825 with Wirley Birch, esq., for the neighbouring manor of Shipdham and East Bradenham, co. Norfolk.
