Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, to Elizabeth Dowffylde, of East Wrotham [East Wretham], spinster, the only daughter and heir of John Dowffylde, deceased, of the manor of East Wretham, except the advowson of the church, profits of courts etc. From Lady Day last for 21 years. Rent £20 5s 6d and 15 quarters 2 bushels of wheat and 20 quarters 2 bushels of malt, or their equivalent in money. Signature of lessee. Witnesses: Henry Davy, William Davy, Clement Heigham.
Seal, oval, 15 x 6mm, red wax, on doubled tag, a bad impression. Armorial, a chevron between (three, only the lower one surviving) annulets.
