Eton, Buckinghamshire: Quitclaim of messuage, garden and curtilage

Quitclaim by Richard Cardel and Alice, his wife, of Ewre, to John Jurdelay of all their right in a messuage, curtilage and garden lying together in the parish of Eton between the land sometime of Nicholas Medeford on one side and the land sometime of William de Eton on the other, and a piece of arable called le Herne lying between the land of Alice Porter on one side and a path called Millelane on the other, and half an acre of meadow between the land late of Thomas le Rotour on one side and the land of Thomas Casteldich on the other.
Witnesses: Henry Honesworth, Henry Jurdelay, Thomas Chesewyk, Alan Jurdelay, John Kentes.

Two seals, round, red wax, on doubled tag.
(1) 21 mm. A shield of arms within a cusped border. A saltire between four quatrefoils.
(2) 24mm. A floral design of six points, part of the left side broken away.
