Indenture of lease, 27 March 1605-6, by the Provost and College, upon the surrender of his former lease, to Benjamin Owtred, of Eton, gentleman, of two messuages or tenements with two gardens and two backsides belonging, together with all cellars, sollers, stables, kitchens and other appurtenances, in Eton, between a tenement of Andrew Windesor, esquire, on the south and a tenement of Thomas Dickenson on the north and the King’s highway on the west, the messuage being now in the occupation of the said Owtred. From Lady Day last for 21 years. Rent 23s 4d.
