Eton, Buckinghamshire: Indenture of lease

Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, upon surrender of a lease to Richard Wollward, yeoman, to Thomas Dickenson, of Eton, cook, of two messuages or tenements, with all cellars, sollers, and other appurtenances, in Eton, between a tenement of the College wherein Thomas Milton, tailor, late dwelled on the south and the Christopher on the north, with a piece of ground or garden plot containing in length 42 feet and in breadth 21 feet lying on the west of the two messuages and adjoining Jurdleis place; and another piece of ground or garden plot adjoining the north side of Bawdwyns poole, the way and entrance lying between the Christopher and the said two tenements, together with the porch and entry leading to Jurdleis place as it is now used being reserved to the lessors. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 38s 4d. The lessee not to make any pile or stock of wood within ten feet from the grounsell of Jurdleys place or above the height of ten feet whereby the light might be stopped, not to stop any watercourses or gutters that have been used to carry water therefrom.
