Content description
Grant by Henry Cobbe and Richard Robert, of Cyppenham, to John Colwell, of the same, of a croft called Bachelerscrofte in Cyppenham lying in length between the land of Nicholas Tyleherst on the east and the land of the lord of Cyppenham on the west and abutting on the south on the park of Cyppenham and on the north on the lands of the said John Colwell; which they had of the grant of John Colwell, William atte Watere and William Somur.
Witnesses: William atte Gate, Thomas Carter, Peter atte More, Robert Hethton, Nicholas Tyleherst.

Two seals, red wax, on doubled tags.
(1) Round, 11mm. H beneath a crown and with a sprig on either side.
(2) Oval, 19 x 14mm, a female head, full face. A legend.
