Content description
Quitclaim by Thomas Goldhoppe, vicar of Burnham, and John Lewyn, senior, of the same, to William Cook, of the same, of all their right in all lands and tenements in Burnham in his possession. Emma Pultor had granted them all the lands and tenements which she had had of the gift of Thomas Kentys which he had had of the gift of John Pultor, late her husband.
Witnesses: John Ludeseys, John Lewyn, junior, Henry Buscat, William Combe, Robert atte Lee.
Burnham.
Two seals, natural colour wax, on doubled tag.
(1) Oval, 20 x 16mm, beneath a gothic canopy the Virgin and a kneeling figure. A legend.
(2) Square at the top, rounded at the bottom, 18 x 13mm. A lion rampant facing to the right.
