Grant by [Richard?] Bolstrode, John Mylward, of Bekenysfeld, and Richard Gy, of the same, to Robert Wikeston, groom of the King's household, and Maud, his wife, of a cottage with a curtilage in Burnham, late of William Coke, between a tenement of Thomas Gardiner, late of the said Coke, on the north and east and a tenement of John Gerard on the south and the King's way leading through the middle of the town from Wicombe towards New Windsor on the west; and two crofts in Bunrham, which were late Walter's, one between the land of Thomas Gardiner on the north and south, extending towards the east on the King's way called Poillane, the other between the land of John Hyll, late of John Fyndell, on the east and the land of John Fenwyke, which were late Williams's, on the west, extending from the land of Edmund Brudenell on the north to the path called Chownelane leading from Burnham Reedes on the south; and an acre of arable on Burnhambreche at Opyndell between the land of Robert Manfeld, esquire, on the south and that of Thomas Gardiner, late of William Coke, on the north, extending in length from the land of the abbess of Burnham on the east to the King's way leading towards Westoun towards Lente on the west. The grantors had the premises of the gift of William Gardener, of Bekenysfeld by a charter dated at Bekenysfeld on 31 March 1448.
