Counterpart of indenture between Roger Lupton, Provost of Eton, and Robert Rede and Meriel, his wife, of Burneham. The said Robert and Meriel have granted the Provost and College a tenement and 2 acres of arable in Burneham be deed of 31 May 1511. The said Robert and Meriel may occupy the premises for their lives in survivorship without any rent or service to the Provost, provided they pay all rents and service to the Provost, provided they pay all rents and charges going out of the same to the lord of the fee. Nor shall the College be charged with any obit for the same.
