Penn, Buckinghamshire: Grant of messuage

Grant by Thomas Scot, alderman, citizen and draper of the city of London, to William Russell, citizen and draper of the same, and Thomas Skidmore, of the same, draper, of all that messuage with its appurtenances in Penna called Tokeviles or Tokevileslonds alias Aldiffs or Aldithelonds which were once of Osbert Tokevile and afterwards of Thomas Aldiff alias Aldithe, late of Penna, deceased; also a little croft and a grove annexed which were lately parcels of the lands of Thomas Aldiff called Holmers alias Holmerslonds lying near the messuage called Tokeviles. The grantor had the premises, under the name Thomas Scot, late mayor of the city of London, together with Thomas Hampden, of Great Kymbell, co. Bucks, esquire, Henry Gery, of Penna, and Thomas Bovendon, of the same, tailor, who have released to him all their title therein, of the gift of Cecily Aldiff alias Aldithe, late wife of the said Thomas Aldiff.
