Penn, Buckinghamshire: Quitclaim of messuage

Quitclaim by Thomas Hampden, of Great Kymbell, co. Bucks, esquire, Henry Gery, of Penna, and Thomas Bovendon, of the same, tailor, to Thomas Scott, late mayor of the city of London, of all their right in a messuage and its appurtenaces in Penna called Tokeviles or Tokevileslonds alias Aldiff of Alditheslonds which were once of Osbert Tokevile and lately of Thomas Aldiff alias Aldithe, late of Penna, deceased, also in those lands and tenements called Holmers or Holmerslonds which were late of the said Thomas Aldiff alias Aldithe; which lands, tenements and messuage they lately had conjointly with the said Scott of the gift of Cecily Aldiff, late the wife of the said Thomas Aldiff, in her full widowhood.
Witnesses: Edmund Brundell, senior, Henry Puttenham, esquire, Gavin Penne, John Penne, his son, John Hulmett, John Bovendon, tailor, Roger Culverhous, John Raane, William Sexteyne.
Three seals, red wax, on doubled tags.
(1) Octagonal, 11 x 7mm, (?)t.
(2) Round, 10mm, between stars I.
(3) Round, 18mm, an eagle displayed.
