Indenture of grant by Alexander Hulmet that if Robert Rede, of Dorney, yeoman, or his heirs or assigns are distrained by the chief lords of the fee of a close or arable in Penne called Hopkyns for the rent or service for the same, then it shall be lawful for them to enter and distrain upon the messuage of the said Alexander called Helmetts in Penne or any other his lands or tenements in Penne or elsewhere co. Bucks for such rent or service. The grantor had granted the close to the grantee by deed of 26 September 1503, having had the same, together with John Sexten, of the gift of Reginald Bray, Knight, and others. The said John Sexten has released to the said Alexander all his right in the premises.
